Dr. McCance

Dr. Georgette (Gigi) McCance is a board certified obstrecian & gynecologist.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 1985. After working in research on folic acid, she also earned a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from the University. Dr. McCance worked for the Women Infant and Children (WIC) nutrition program in Danbury, CT, then graduated from St. Louis School of Medicine on an Air Force scholarship. She did her residency training in OBGYN at the Tuft's University affiliate, Baystate Medical Center, in Springfield MA. Following the 4 years of training, she served 4 years of active duty as a physician at MacDill Air Force Base. While on the staff at MacDill, she also was the Flight Commander of her department. Dr. McCance left the Air Force with the rank of major. At the time of her honorable discharge she earned a Meritorious Service Award. Since August of 2000, Dr. McCance has practiced OBGYN at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL. Dr. McCance lives in Safety Harbor, FL.

She is married to Dr. Stuart Helms. They have three teenage children: Carl, Hannah and Lewis.

Tiffanie Basile, ARNP

Tiffanie Basile is a certified Family Practice Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.

Tiffanie attended the University of Florida where she graduated with a Bachelor's in Health Science Education as well as a Bachelor's in Science in Nursing in 2001. She practiced nursing for several years in labor and delivery where she was a certified registered nurse in inpatient obstetrics. She then attended The University of South Florida where she completed her Master's degree in Nursing, specializing in family practice medicine in 2008.

Tiffanie is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, West Coast Council for Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nursing Council.
